Dry Needling
Dry needling is a physiotherapy technique that uses thin needles to target trigger points, or tight spots, in the muscle. This therapy aims to reduce pain, release muscle tension, and improve movement function.
Unlike acupuncture, dry needling is based on a scientific approach and modern anatomy, with a primary focus on the musculoskeletal system.
THIS TECHNIQUE WORKS BY STIMULATING MUSCLES EXPERIENCING TENSION OR SPASM, HELPING TO:
Reduce local pain as well as referred pain
Improve muscle flexibility and elasticity
Improve blood circulation in the affected area
Restore movement function optimally
DRY NEEDLING IS COMMONLY USED FOR A VARIETY OF CONDITIONS, SUCH AS:
Chronic muscle pain
Sports injuries
Neck and back pain
Trigger point syndrome
Movement disorders caused by muscle tension
Every procedure is carried out by a trained physiotherapist using safe, hygienic techniques suited to each patient's condition, delivering effective and optimal therapeutic results.
